MIPPA (Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers) provides valuable support to Medicare beneficiaries that have limited resources and income with numerous resources specific to where they reside. Promote and encourage beneficiaries to be proactive with their health and inform them of preventive services that are offered to Medicare recipients at little or no cost with guidelines on how often they are allowed. Responsible in assisting other grant programs along with their Outreach Coordinators in the Life Span Respite, and Public Health Work Force Grant. Assist beneficiaries with OKDHS LIVE to call and/or instructed them with online OKDHS LIVE accounts to apply for MSP, SNAP, LIHEAP, transportation, food banks, etc.
